Menstrual Cycle?

Menstrual Cycle?-I am 14 years old and I still haven't started my period is that normal? Please Help!
It will likely come very soon. It all depends on what stage in the Tanner Scale the girl is at.

For example, in Tanner 1, Prepubertal, her height increases at basal rate 5-6 cm/year; her breasts are Papilla elevation only; and her pubic hair is villus hair only (no coarse, pigmented hair). In Tanner 2, between ages 9-11 or so, her height begins increasing at an accelerated rate (7-8 cm/year); her breast buds are palpable and areolae enlarged; and her pubic Hair is minimally course and pigmented, mainly on the labia. In Tanner 3, at about 10-12 yrs. old, her height increases at peak rate of 8 cm/year, breast contours are elevated and areolae enlarged, dark, coarse, curly hair spreads over the mons pubis. Some - not all - may also begin to develop acne. In Tanner 4, at about 12-13 yrs. old, her height slows to an increase of about 7 cm/year, areolae forms secondary mound on breasts, public hair may be of adult quality, but no spread to junction of medial thigh with perineum. Menstruation may begin.

In the final stage, Tanner 5, between 12-16 yrs. old, there will be no further height increases (after 16), the breast has adult contour and the areola recess to general contour of breast, the pubes have adult distribution of hair spreading to the medial thigh (but not up linea alba). If menstruation has not already begun, it should happen in this stage, barring any disorders that would otherwise delay it further.

Hope that helps.
