i have never had a normal menstrual cycle. when i was 22?-i
went on birth control so that i would have regular cycles. i also was
in a relationship and wanted to know that there would be no risk of
getting pregnant. but a few monthes into the pill, i got pregnant and
had my daughter. for the past two years, i have had two periods, the
last one being a year and a half ago. but i have been having strange
sensations lately. my nipples are sore and i feel that fluttering in my
lower abdomen. tonight, i took a test and it is positive, but i'm
confused. if i never had a period, how did i get pregnant. i thought
that if i wasn't having periods, i wasn't ovulating and therefore,
couldn't get pregnant. please explain this to me.
Update:
and
if i'm feeling the fluttering, how far along am i? a month or two ago i
felt sick to my stomach a few times, but it passed a while ago? could i
be far along and not have known it?
I'm not a doctor or nurse, and I really don't understand your cycle
either, but usually when you start to feel fluttering that is about
around the 4th month. You know some women have gone through their entire
pregnancy without knowing about it and ended up at the hospital with
stomach cramps only to find out that they were in labor, I do feel sorry
for you though, I think your doctor has dropped the ball in your case
though, with making sure the pill he prescribed was what you needed and
followed up and made sure everything was as it should be, maybe you can
ask him if he is going to support the 2 children you now have because of
the "help" he has given you. I would date your pregnancy around the 4th
month though, I was told and it worked for me and my children, that if
you kept track of the first time you felt your baby move, count 5 months
ahead to the day, that would be the day you would deliver, 2 out of 3
of my children were right on that schedule. Hopefully someone else can
explain the rest to you. Good Luck
