if you know a website that will help me out then feel free to post on here thanx :)

Ok, the menstrual cycle begins with the first day of the period. The normal period will last about 5 to 7 days. Around 14 days after the cycle began a single egg is released - this is called ovulation (it is possible that more than one egg is released but not that common. This may result in fraternal twins) and begins its journey through the fallopian tubes. If a man has released sperm into the woman the egg and sperm usually meet somewhere in the fallopian tubes. If the egg is fertilised it becomes an embryo.

Fertilised or not the egg continues travelling towards the uterus. This is where the journey ends for the unfertilised egg, but the embryo will implant into the uterine wall and a pregnancy will begin. If the unfertilised egg reached the uterus the body will signal that the uterus is empty and will shed the lining, which will result in the start of the period - a start of a new cycle. A cycle is generally 28 days.
The chance of getting pregnant if you had s3x 2 days after your period is not great, but certainly possible. Sperm can survive inside the woman's body for up to 5 days.
